Too many people struggle to articulate their 'true value'. The result? They 'undersell' themselves and/or their ideas. When the chips are down, how do you get people – your interviewer, your prospective client or your senior colleague - to really listen to you?

Simon Bucknall - Biography

Twice winner of the GB & All-Ireland Championship of Public Speaking, Simon Bucknall specialises in helping high-achieving leaders and entrepreneurs to influence and inspire through the spoken word.

Since placing in the top 20 out of 26,000 speakers in the 2007 World Championship of Public Speaking Finals, Simon has helped FTSE 100 executives, entrepreneurs, MBA graduates, charity workers and politicians to ‘connect’.

His sessions have ignited international audiences across the globe, including the UAE, India, Pakistan, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, the USA as well as the UK and Ireland.

He draws on a career background which includes senior executive headhunting, corporate brand strategy and innovation, grassroots community campaigning plus a stint working in the British Parliament.

Simon is the current President of the London Junior Chamber of Commerce. He holds degrees from Oxford University and the London School of Oriental & African Studies, is a Member of the UK Professional Speaking Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufacturing & Commerce.
